All of the poets on this panel are educators, editors, or curators. Greg Brownderville, this year’s poetry contest judge, whose most recent book is A Horse With Holes in It, is the editor of the Southwest Review. Té V. Smith is an award-winning writer and educator with dual identities in East St. Louis and Nigeria. Té has written two books, Here We Are, Reflections of A God Gone Mad (2015 R.H. Austin Publishing) and Exit Ticket (2019 Field Order Press). David Gewanter, whose most recent book is Fort Necessary, teaches at Georgetown University. Gina Ferrara is inspired by the art of Marc Chagall in her most recent collection, Fitting the Sixth Finger. Anne Babson, whose most recent book is Polite Occasions, moderates.
