Nancy Dixon

Nancy Dixon teaches English at Dillard University in New Orleans. She has worked with Louisiana literature for over twenty years, publishing in Louisiana LiteratureWorking in the Big Easy: The History and Politics of Labor in New Orleans, among others. Her first book, Fortune and Misery: Sallie Rhett Roman of New Orleans, won the LEH Humanities Book of the Year, she edited N.O. Lit: 200 Years of New Orleans Literature, and was recently named the Executive Editor of the New Orleans Tricentennial Book.
