Bill Lavender is a poet, novelist, musician, carpenter and publisher in New Orleans. He founded Lavender Ink (lavenderink.org), a small press devoted mainly to poetry, in 1995, and Diálogos, an imprint devoted to cross-cultural literatures in 2011. His work has appeared in print and web journals and anthologies. He has written the verse memoir, Memory Wing, the novel, Q, and a chapbook, surrealism.
