Felice Picano

Felice Picano, author of many books and winner of multiple awards, is perhaps best known for the novels The Lure and Like People in History (winner of the Ferro-Grumley award for Best Gay Novel, 1966), the memoir Nights at Rizzoli (Dirk Vanden Award for Best Autobiography/Memoir, 2015), and collections of short stories, essays, and poetry. He has had four of his plays produced. He is the recipient of a Violet Quill Life Achievement Award from the Tennessee Williams Festival, and a Lifetime Achievement/ Pioneer Award from the Lambda Literary Foundation. He resides in Los Angeles.
