Uriel Quesada

Uriel Quesada is the author of eight books of fiction, including the 2016 novel  Mar Caníbal. He received the Costa Rica National Book Award in 1990 and 2005, and the Áncora Award in Literature in 2005. He has published two non-fiction volumes: (Re)Imaginar Centroamérica en el siglo XXI, an edited book on Central American literature and culture, and Queer Brown Voices. 14 Personal Narratives of Latina/o Activism. Quesada lives in New Orleans and works at Loyola University New Orleans.
