Lorraine Boissoneault

Lorraine Boissoneault is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Journalism and writes about science, history, foreign policy and adventure for publications including The Atlantic, Salon, LitHub, Forbes, Chicago Magazine, The Weather Channel and others. The Last Voyageurs is her first book and tells the true story of twenty-three Chicago-area teens and teachers who canoed 3,300 miles across North America while dressed like 17th-century French explorers.
