Edward Branley is a writer, teacher, historian, and computer nerd. He graduated from Brother Martin High School, and received a degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Orleans. After a few years teaching high school, he began a career in computer consulting. Branley is the author of six books on New Orleans history, including books on Maison Blanche and Krauss department stores, the Canal Street streetcar line, and a book on jazz.
