
Brian Fairbanks
Brian Fairbanks is a longtime journalist, having written for the Guardian, Gawker, Nerve, the New York Observer, Mic, and Business Insider, as well as dozens of other publications. As an editorial assistant, he worked on books by or about Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, the NAACP, and World War II, most of which became New York Times bestsellers. A resident New Orleanian, Wizards, about the 1991 Louisiana gubernatorial election, is his first book entirely under his name.
