John Goodman

John Goodman is an American actor. He rose to prominence in television, most notably for his role as Dan Conner in ABC’s Roseanne, before transitioning his career into film becoming an acclaimed character actor. His other television roles include starring and appearing in The Conners, Treme, Alpha House, and Saturday Night Live. He is known for his roles in critically acclaimed films such as Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, The Big Lebowski, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Monuments Men, O Brother Where Art Thou, and many more. John Goodman also had numerous voice roles in animated films such as The Emperor’s New Groove, Monster’s Inc., The Jungle Book 2, Bee Movie, and The Princess and the Frog. He’s received numerous accolades including a Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Vanity Fair has called him “among our very finest actors” and IndieWire named him one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award.
