Michael Hooper

Michael Hooper, PhD, is an independent scholar and private tutor based in the UK. A frequent participant at festivals since 2011, he has also contributed essays to the Tennessee Williams Annual Review, most recently in 2019 when he wrote about the homoeroticism of the playwright’s paintings. His monograph, Sexual Politics in the Work of Tennessee Williams: Desire over Protest, has been published by Cambridge University Press, while his work on Jordan Harrison’s Marjorie Prime is to be included in a collection commissioned by Routledge, Ageing in Contemporary Speculative and Science Fiction.
