Sonnet Ireland

Sonnet Ireland is the Library Director of the Washington Parish Library. A Louisiana librarian for fifteen years, she has written articles and given presentations on censorship and fake news while focusing her research on ways to counteract both. She is also a Past President of the Louisiana Library Association and an ALA Councilor At-Large. Having worked in both academic and public libraries, Sonnet is a passionate advocate for all libraries and library workers.
