Ashley Jones

Ashley Jones, a daughter of New Orleans and its public school system,  graduated from McDonogh #35 High School, received her BA in Communication from Clark Atlanta University, and an MFA in Film from Savannah College of Art and Design. She is a founding student of Students at the Center (SAC) who later became a SAC teacher and Director. She served on the editorial collective and contributed writings to Go To Jail. She currently teaches at The Rooted School where she continues the SAC pedagogy, centering the lived experiences of students with a focus on social justice.
