Nigel O’Hearn

Nigel O’Hearn (he/him) is a doctoral candidate working across dramatic literature and rhetoric. He is currently working on a dissertation titled Writing Between the Scenes: Tracing the Activity, Textual Ecology, and Rhetorical Genres of American Drama, 1939–1964. Nigel’s work leverages rhetorical theory to read the production of postwar and contemporary American drama through its institutional and sociohistorical practices. He is also a playwright and theater producer whose work has been staged in Austin, New York, Edinburgh, and Chicago.
