Michael Paterniti

Michael Paterniti is the author of the New York Times bestselling books, The Telling Room and Driving Mr. Albert and an essay collection, Love and Other Ways of Dying, which was longlisted for the National Book Award. He is a Contributing Writer at the New York Times Magazine and a Correspondent at GQ. Paterniti’s honors include an NEA grant and a National Magazine Award, for which he’s been a nine-time finalist. He’s co-founder of a children’s storytelling center honored by the Obama White House as one of the best after-school art programs in the country.
