Dixie Poché

Dixie Poché is a storyteller sharing  the richness of Cajun culture through her four local history books published by History Press. She lives in Lafayette and is a graduate of journalism from ULL.  She has been a travel writer and corporate communications manager for many years. She is adventurous enough to sample dishes of raccoon and rooster stew and blood boudin, dance to zydeco, and wear a raggedy costume for the Courir de Mardi Gras runs.
