Cammie McGovern
Cammie McGovern is the author of The Last Letters of Sally and Walter (2026), a Target Book of the Month pick, and Hard Landings (2021), a memoir about her autistic son’s transition into adult services at the age of 22. She has also written six books for young adults and middle grade readers, most of which feature main characters with disabilities. She is one of the founders of Whole Children in Hadley, Massachusetts, a resource center for children and young adults with disabilities and their families. Her writing and work around disability issues has been featured in The New York Times, Boston Globe, Parenting, and Redbook.
