Pune Dracker
Pune Dracker is a researcher, mover, and maker in New York City. She teaches dance and yoga, has conducted Movement Choirs around the city, and regularly performs as a zombie in reenactments of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Her current work at CUNY Graduate Center, where she is a PhD student in Theatre and Performance, focuses on the dressed performing body. She holds an MFA in Nonfiction/Poetry and an MA in Design Research, Writing, and Criticism, and her essays and artwork have appeared in Hyperallergic, Full Bleed Journal, and ZoneModa Journal of fashion studies. She is grateful for having studied Williams in classes with Annette Saddik and Hilton Als and, as a film studies scholar, adores Boom! for the fashion and the soundtrack.
