Sloan Elle Garner

Sloan Elle Garner is a dramaturg, director, intimacy choreographer, and theatre educator from North Mississippi. A graduate of Mississippi School of the Arts, she holds degrees in theatre from the University of Southern Mississippi and Villanova University and is currently pursuing a PhD in theatre and performance studies at the University of Georgia. Garner uses archives to narrate theatre history in Atlanta during the New South Era. Her work has been presented at meetings of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education and the American Society for Theatre Research and has earned her a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region IV nomination. She is the Southeast Regional VP of Literary managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas.
