
Miles Harvey
Miles Harvey is the author of The King of Confidence, selected as a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice pick in 2020 and longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction. His previous books include the national bestseller The Island of Lost Maps: A True Story of Cartographic Crime. Harvey teaches at DePaul University, where he is director of the DePaul Publishing Institute and co-founder of Big Shoulders Books, a non-profit publishing entity devoted to social justice. He is a proud graduate of the MFA creative-writing program at the University of Michigan.
