Adam Karlin
Adam Karlin has written for the BBC, NPR, and The Christian Science Monitor, and is a regular author for Lonely Planet, where he has contributed to over 100 guidebooks. His creative nonfiction has appeared in multiple anthologies, as well as Catapult, The Bitter Southerner, and Stranger’s Guide; he also has a notable essay listed in The Best American Travel Writing 2020. His debut novel, Luna & the Heart of the Forest, a middle grade dark fantasy, was published by Breakwater Books and named a top Canadian children’s book by Teach Magazine. He teaches Humanities at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, Louisiana’s state arts conservatory.
