COCKTAILS & CONVERSATION
a series of intimate literary events
Thanks to everyone who attended our first Cocktails & Conversation on Thursday, October 10, the launch of our series of intimate literary gatherings.
Our first event featured Peggy Scott Laborde and Poppy Tooker in conversation about the New Orleans culinary scene and dishes mentioned in the plays of Tennessee Williams.
Guests enjoyed samples of Chicken Bonne Femme and Steak Diane, along with deviled eggs and petite sandwiches. Libations included champagne and wine, and we toasted Tennessee with one his favorites, the Brandy Alexander!
Thanks to Peggy Scott Laborde and husband Errol for hosting us, to Peggy and Poppy for their culinary stories, and to Mister Gregory's Shrimp Boil Cabaret for the appetizers! Full story and photos coming soon!
Missed it? This is just the start of the series, so be on the lookout for the next Cocktails & Conversation!
