EARLY NEW ORLEANS  JAZZ AND ITS NEIGHBORHOODS

While no one would argue that the entire city of New Orleans was a hotbed of the music that would come to be known as Jazz, there are specific streets and areas where the music flourished. West End, South Rampart Street, and the Tremé neighborhood are just a few areas of the city associated with the early years of Jazz.
