Jaclyn Bethany

Jaclyn Bethany is Artistic Director of the Irene Collective Theatre Company. A native of Mississippi, she is an Emmy winning filmmaker, theatremaker, writer, actor, and producer. She graduated from the American Film Institute with an M.F.A. in Directing. Her film work has been screened at the prestigious film festivals worldwide and received distribution worldwide. As an actor, writer, and director she has numerous, film, television, regional and Off-Broadway credits. In addition, she is an emerging Tennessee Williams scholar, which has led her to theatres and conferences in the US and UK. Jaclyn’s work focuses on the complexity of femininity and her Southern upbringing.
