Stephen Cedars

Stephen Cedars is a writer, director, teacher, and scholar originally from south Louisiana. His award-winning plays have been produced or developed throughout the U.S. and Canada, and published by multiple presses. As a scholar, he has presented his work at major conferences and published his work in journals in the U.S. and U.K.  He earned his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, which he attended as a Rita and Burton Goldberg Fellow. Stephen is a Ph.D. candidate in Theatre and Performance with the CUNY Graduate Center.
