Moira Crone
Moira Crone, a New Orleanian, has published six books of fiction and her stories have appeared in the New Yorker, Oxford American, and Fantasy and Science Fiction. Her novels are Period of Confinement, The Ice Garden( 2016), winner of the Independent Booksellers Gold Medal, and The Not Yet (2012, 2024), finalist for the Philip K Dick Prize for paperback sci fi novel of the year. The Not Yet is a text in courses on Eco-Futurism, architecture, and Southern decadence, reprinted in 2024 with new design by UNO Press. She is also a visual artist represented by Sullivan and New Orleans Art Center Galleries.
