Margot Douaihy is the author of Scorched Grace (Gillian Flynn Books, 2023). She received her Ph.D. in Creative Writing from the University of Lancaster and her BA in English from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the author of the poetry collections Bandit/Queen: The Runaway Story of Belle Starr, Scranton Lace, and Girls Like You (Clemson University Press). She is a founding member of the Creative Writing Studies Organization and an active member of Sisters in Crime and the Radius of Arab American Writers. Her writing has been featured in Colorado Review, The Florida Review, North American Review, PBS NewsHour, Portland Review, Queer Life, Queer Love, Wisconsin Review, and elsewhere.
