Jef Hall-Flavin

Jef Hall-Flavin is the former director of the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, where he staged three world-premiere Williams plays and produced dozens of productions since 2006. He has held positions at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, and The Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC. Now living and directing plays in London, Jef is a visiting lecturer at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and Norwich University of the Arts. His research interrogates relationships between text and meaning in performance, and he has written a chapter for an upcoming Routledge volume: New Intermedialities in Theatre and Performance (July 2026).
