Rodney Jones

Rodney Jones is the author of eleven poetry books, including Transparent Gestures, winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award, Elegy for the Southern Drawl, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, and Salvation Blues, winner of the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. His other awards include fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. In 2016, he became the second poet to be inducted into the Alabama Writers Hall of Fame.
