Richard Louth

Dr. Richard Louth, a Professor of English at Southeastern Louisiana University for 42 years, is Director of the Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project, and founder of the New Orleans Writing Marathon. He has edited The Writing Marathon: In Good Company Revealed (Lulu.com, 2011) and six collections of Writing Marathon writing published in Louisiana Literature. He has led over 100 Writing Marathons in cities ranging from New Orleans to Baltimore and San Francisco and has been a regular leader of New Orleans Writing Marathons at the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival. His stories, poetry, and nonfiction have appeared in Louisiana Literature, Country Roads Magazine, and Speak.
