Arthur Roger

Arthur Roger has been an advocate and voice for local artists in New Orleans since 1978. Recognized as the city’s preeminent art dealer, he led the formation of the Arts District of New Orleans and helped create successful citywide exhibition openings which transformed the art scene in New Orleans. He is the recipient of multiple civic awards including the ADL’s A.I. Botnick Torch of Liberty, Junior Achievement Role Model, and the Human Rights Campaign’s Equality Award. Roger has served on numerous boards and is well-known for his philanthropic efforts. He currently chairs The Greater New Orleans Foundation LBGTQ Fund.
