
Basil Wiesse
Basil Wiesse, PhD, has been working as a research assistant at the professorship for process-oriented sociology at KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt since April 2014. He acquired his PhD in 2020 with a thesis on affect theory and situationist sociology (“Situation und Affekt”, Velbrück 2020). His general research focus lies in sociological theory and in qualitative methods. He is currently interested in social practices of the manipulation of boundaries and their relation to participant notions of space, situation, and place.
