Festival Volunteer Signup

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for our events! Here are the positions we need to fill. Volunteers receive a LitPass or a SAS Day Pass to the Fest.

• Ticket and Merchandise Sales: Sell tickets and merchandise to patrons in our Festival Headquarters (Hotel Monteleone). Simple computer skills.
• Guest Assistant: Watch for attendees who look like they need information or assistance. Answer their questions and/or send them to the right place or person. May be in Festival Headquarters (Hotel Monteleone), elsewhere in the hotel, or at other French Quarter venues.
• Book Fair Assistant: Assist our book sellers with customer service, displays, book signings, etc. (Hotel Monteleone)
• Attendee Check-in/Room Monitor : Using a door list, check-in attendees as they arrive; when event begins, assist late arrivals to their seats, watch for any problems. Hotel Monteleone and other French Quarter venues
• Event Site Manager: Assist speakers as they arrive, adjust signage, introduce the event, give audience instructions, count attendance, watch for any problems, etc. Hotel Monteleone and other French Quarter venues
• Party Assistant – Set-up/Service: Arrive early to set up chairs, tables, food, and beverage stations, etc. Serve food, help clean up. – French Quarter venues.
• Party assistant – bar service: Serve beverages. Bartending experience required.
• Supply runner – within walking distance: Take signage, programs, and other supplies to various venues in the French Quarter.
• Supply driver – must have SUV or similar vehicle: Drive and/or pick-up signage, programs, party supplies, etc.to various venues in the French Quarter.
• Load-in/Load-out – must be able to lift over 25 lbs.: Assist with moving Festival supplies from office (CBD) to Hotel Monteleone.
• Photographer: Take event photos and upload them to our Dropbox. Requires either a good quality camera or newer model smart phone.
• Videographer: Take event videos and upload them to our Dropbox. Requires either a good quality camera or newer model smart phone.

To sign up for a single spot, click the sign up link at right. To volunteer for multiple spots, check the box next to the spots you want and then click “Sign up for all selected” at the bottom left. You’ll then be able to select TWFest, SASFest, or Either when finalizing your selections.
